Courses Offered

Micro Credential Payroll Management (SKM)

Payroll Management is one of the recognised Micro-credentials under the SKM (Sijil Kemahiran Malaysia) pathway. It allows learners to gain industry-relevant payroll skills while earning credit towards the full SKM qualification. This flexible learning approach enables participants to upskill progressively and build their qualifications one competency at a time.

Course Outline

1. Payroll Fundamentals & Employment Act 1955 (8 hours)
Understand payroll terminology, source documents, and legal requirements while learning to organise payroll data using Cloud Payroll.

 

2. Payroll Processing & Payroll Schedule (18 hours)
Calculate salaries, allowances, overtime, statutory deductions, and prepare accurate payroll schedules through hands-on practical sessions.

 

3. Payroll Payments & Statutory Compliance (18 hours)
Process payroll payments, generate payslips, prepare EA Forms and PCB (MTD), and manage statutory payments using Cloud Payroll.
HRD Corp Levy Management 

 

4. Calculate, prepare, and submit HRD Corp levy contributions and reports using Cloud Payroll. (4 hours)

2. Submit your application under the Employment Insurance System (EIS), if eligible.

 

3. Select System & Skills Training Concept (SSTC) as your preferred training provider and enrol in the MC Payroll Management (SKM) programme.

 

4. Upon PERKESO’s approval, your training fees will be funded in accordance with the programme’s terms and conditions.
