Certified Credit Analyst (CCA)

The Credit Credit Analyst (CCA) is a certification program for finance professionals who seek to equip themselves with the skills, knowledge and tools to advance in the demanding and rapidly changing field of credit management. 

 

The (CCA) Program will be of benefit to professionals in, or aspiring to, the positions of: all levels of treasury professionals, business professionals, and any operational, engineering, commercial, marketing, technical, or financial personnel whose work impacts on cash flow or working capital, and who wish to develop their expertise in these areas to support their current roles or for career development.

 

The CCA program furnishes the participant with a complete basis in the terminology and core technical concepts of treasury, and how they apply in an integrated way that is relevant and movable between roles, organizations, and locations worldwide. It is suitable for anyone with some background in business or finance, either academic or through experience, who is interested in learning more about treasury, or those looking to become treasury professionals in the future.

Pathway after CCA

CCA graduates can enjoy multiple progression pathways:

✅ Progress to the Certified Credit Manager (CCM) professional certification.

✅ Exemptions for 2 of the 6 modules in the Level 7 Diploma in Strategic Leadership & Management (Institute of Business Administration, Hong Kong).*

  9. Managing the Collection System
  10. Managing the Disbursement Systems
  11. Measuring and Managing Liquidity
  12. Managing the Short-Term Investment Portfolio
  13. Managing Short-Term Borrowing from Commercial Banks
  14. Managing Nonbank Sources of Short-Term Credit

5 weeks, with online classes conducted every Saturday, from 2.00pm to 6.00pm.

Successful graduates are awarded the Certified Credit Analyst (CCA) designation and may use the CCA post-nominal letters after their name, showcasing their professional achievement and enhancing their credibility with employers and clients.

To gain the CCA designation, 

  • Complete the CCA Certification Program.
  • Pass the CCA Online Examination (50 Multiple-Choice Questions)
  • Satisfy the minimum 2-year work experience requirement.
  • Agree to follow the IFPM Global Professional Code of Ethics.
*Candidates with at least 3 years’ experience in credit analysis, credit management and related fields, can apply for an exemption for the online examination.
