What is SSTC?
SSTC is a registered and approved training provider for JPK (Jabatan Pembangunan Kemahiran), HRD Corp under the Ministry of Human Resources. It is also registered under the Ministry of Finance. Besides, SSTC is an approved training provider for AAT, SBP, IFPM Global, Autocount, and Xeersoft.

What is the minimum age to study AAT or SKM?
16 years old and above.
If an individual wants to study Accounting, what is the pathway?
For SPM/ IGCSE school leavers who did not take accounting start with AAT Level 2 Certificate in Bookkeeping and then move on to AAT Level 3 Diploma in Accounting, and finally AAT Level 4 Diploma in Professional Accounting.
Duration for full-time studies: 1 year 6 months
Duration for part-time studies: 2 years 4 months
For SPM/ IGCSE school leavers who took accounting can start with AAT Level 3 Diploma in Accounting, and finally AAT Level 4 Diploma in Professional Accounting.
Duration for full-time studies: 1 year 4 months
Duration for part-time studies: 2 years
If an individual has poor SPM/ IGCSE results, e.g. fail in BM, Sejarah, etc; can the student take up Accounting?
Yes, the student can pursue a dual qualification: SKM Level 3 Perakaunan and AAT Level 3 Diploma in Accounting. Duration: 10 months of training plus 3 months of industrial training. However, this is only available full-time.
Can an individual apply for PTPTN study loan?
No. However, individuals can apply for PTPK (Pembangunan Tabung Pendidikan Kemahiran).
Can we pay the fees by credit card?
Yes, With installments of 24 or 36 months.
Can we pay the fees in installments?
Yes, by cash and/or credit card.
What are the exemptions that an individual can get if they have SPM, IGCSE or UEC Accounting?
They can proceed to AAT Level 3 Diploma in Accounting.
Are the qualifications recognized?
- AAT
Yes. The Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) programs are widely recognized and respected in the field of accounting and finance. AAT is a professional body and awarding body that offers qualifications in accounting, finance, and related subject
- SKM
Yes, Sijil Kemahiran Malaysia (SKM) is recognized in Malaysia as a national vocational qualification. SKM certifications are issued by the Malaysian Department of Skills Development (Jabatan Pembangunan Kemahiran, JPK) under the Ministry of Human Resources. These certifications are designed to validate and recognize individuals’ skills and competencies in various vocational fields.
Can an individual withdraw from their EPF?
No, they can’t.
What are the further studies routes if an individual completes AAT Level 4 Diploma in Accounting?
You can apply for the Professional designation, MAAT. You can also further your studies to ACCA, ICAEW, or CIMA with exemptions. Exemptions from ACCA (3 papers), CIMA (13 papers), and ICAEW (3-5 papers).
What does a student get if he/she attends the online AAT course? Schedule?
- Online Teaching and Learning resources including videos, quizzes, exercises, and case studies via SSTC Mindful Education Virtual Learning Environment.
